D. Patricia Wallace

Patricia Wallace is a litigator.  Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, especially in federal courts.  In the context of both federal and state court practice, Patricia provides the Firm guidance on electronic discovery issues, case law, and technology.  She enjoys helping clients maximize the use of technological advances to protect confidential information and reduce business disruption and litigation costs.

Patricia also serves as the Firm’s appellate counsel and has briefed and argued appeals throughout Florida.  Just prior to joining the Firm, Patricia served as appellate counsel with a boutique health care litigation firm.  While there, she guided the firm in developing its electronic discovery capabilities and provided extensive briefing in federal court.

Before serving as appellate counsel, Patricia served as an attorney with Hunton and Williams, LLP, at their Miami office, where she prosecuted First Amendment claims and defended clients against appropriation of likeness, defamation, and other privacy torts.  She also represented clients in numerous commercial disputes in both federal and state courts and before arbitration panels.  While at Hunton & Williams, Patricia served as chair of The Florida Bar's Media Law Committee and won several awards for her pro bono service, including an award of merit from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Patricia is admitted to practice in the State of Florida; the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida; the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals; and the United States Supreme Court. She also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Henry Coke Morgan, Jr., United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Virginia.
